Birthday night in a tree house....

Tony's birthday this week. His birthday treat was a visit to Andre Petit & Fils, a small cognac producer in Berneuil. A personal tour for just the two of us and then Tony got to taste five of their cognacs (I discovered poire william cognac liqueur and had to buy myself a bottle). M Petit's pineau was lovely too. We both enjoyed seeing how the small producers in this area work.

We spent the night in a tree house near Pons. A first for us both.
